Who am I?

I'm Lisa Cooley...57, married to Lindy since 1995. We have two kids, Eli and Francie. In December, 2017, Lindy was diagnosed with esophageal cancer metastasized to the brain.

The tumor was removed in January, but that was the easy part (so far.) Now he's in chemo for the primary. This blog is about my explorations into anti-cancer foods and the anti-cancer lifestyle.

Sometimes my food obsession makes him crazy. Sometimes his skepticism about fighting cancer with food makes me crazy.

I'm not an expert. But I love to learn, I love to cook, and I want Lindy to be with me for a long, long time.

Somehow we manage to live with this disease...and despite all the conflicts, we are closer than we have ever been.
